Full efforts in promotional marketing to attract Mongolian Medical Tourists Daejeon Tourism Organization promoted Daejeon’s medical infrastructures in the 2024 K-Tourism show in Mongolia

From August 30 to 31, the Daejeon Tourism Organization participated in the “2024 Mongolia K-Tourism Roadshow” hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. The organization conducted promotional marketing for Daejeon's medical tourism to industry professionals and consumers.

This event attracted about 12,000 general consumers, including local MZ generation, and 300 travel industry professionals. A total of 17 related organizations, including seven domestic RTOs and public institutions, travel agencies, and tourism companies, participated to promote Korean culture, medical services, and tourism resources.

On the 30th, at the Korea Tourism Travel Mart event, the Daejeon Tourism Organization promoted Daejeon's excellent medical infrastructure and tourism resources to 30 organizations, including Mongolian travel agencies, government, and corporate representatives. On the 31st, at the K-Tourism Roadshow held in Mongolia's National Park, they conducted social media-linked events for Mongolian general consumers, promoting Daejeon's festivals, wellness tourist attractions, beauty and health check-up programs, and other medical tourism products to secure potential customers.

This event provided an opportunity to promote the excellence of Daejeon's medical infrastructure and services to potential Mongolian medical tourists. The organization plans to attract Mongolian medical tourists through cooperation and support from various institutions, leveraging the direct flight route through Cheongju Airport to attract them more actively.
