NURI EYE HOSPITAL Specializing in Ophthalmology, Offers NURI Smile LASIK & NURI Presbyopia and Cataract Surgery.
Since its inception as a cataract center in 2005, NURI EYE HOSPITAL expanded to include a vision correction center in 2011 and had evolved into a full-fledged hospital by May 2021. The hospital provides specialized medical services in the areas of vision correction, the cornea, cataracts, glaucoma, the retina, pediatric ophthalmology, and more, treating over 50,000 outpatients/inpatients and performing about 10,000 surgeries annually. Equipped with the latest precision diagnostics and surgical equipment, NURI EYE HOSPITAL operates at a university hospital level with rigorous infection control and triple-redundant uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
One of its specialized medical services, NURI Smile LASIK, involves a minimal 2mm incision, reducing corneal damage, and uses the VISUMAX femtosecond laser to minimize side effects and complications, allowing patients to resume daily activities the next day.
NURI Cataract Surgery employs the LENSAR laser system, which automatically integrates corneal topography and anterior segment imaging data when the patient lies down. This procedure uniquely corrects astigmatism with femtosecond laser technology, considering both anterior and posterior corneal surfaces and compensating for ocular cyclotorsion, a feature exclusive to its facility in Korea.
