The Daejeon Expo Aquarium is filled with media arts based on story-telling and 20,000 different creatures of 250 different types. Based on the story of Greek mythology, the aquarium is decorated with five themes: the garden of the gods, the power of the gods, the temple of Poseidon, the love of the gods, and the gifts of the gods, and here you can enjoy various cultural performances such as beautiful sea creatures and hologram images, underwater ballet performances, and sea exploration boats.

The Art Space 193 is an art observatory on the 40th and 42nd floors where you can see the city of Daejeon at a glance. At the observatory where you can experience various sceneries according to the season and weather, you can enjoy the works of Olafur Eliason, a world-class installation artist.

The Expo Science Park, where Korea’s first World Exhibition was held in 1993, has been reborn as a cultural space for citizens in 30 years. The lights reflected in the widely opened Water Light Square, the media facade with beautiful images on the outer wall of Hanbit Tower, which is the symbol of Daejeon, and the musical fountain performance in front of it, fill the night of Daejeon with beautiful lights. The Water Light Square is a place where night markets, festivals, and performances are held in connection with representative festivals of Daejeon, such as Wine Festival and Science Festival, and you can enjoy a romantic night with various foods at Moonlight Picnic held every summer.

You can also enjoy the beautiful night view at the Hanbit Tower Observatory, which was built the commemorate the World Exhibition. The height of Hanbit Tower is 93m and the observatory is 39m.
