Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise (DIME; President Go Kyung-gon) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chungnam National University Hospital (CNUH; President Yun Hwan-jung), Konyang University Hospital (KYUH; President: Choi Won-jun), Sun Medical Center (Management Director: Lee Gyu-eun), Barun Mind Hospital (President: Jeon Taek-su), FACE Plastic Surgery Center (President: Yun Yeong-muk) to boost the local healthcare industry by developing and promoting medical products and implementing digital healthcare using Daejeon’s outstanding medical services and infrastructure.

The objective is to further advance the healthcare industry and invigorate the local economy by investing into PR and marketing to make Daejeon’s healthcare services more accessible and supporting the improvement of the healthcare infrastructure based on the needs of local medical institutions.

Some of the main activities included in the MOU are “planning medical care products based on specialized healthcare,” “building a network of medical institutions, enterprises and other relevant entities,” “promoting information exchange on healthcare infrastructure and services” and “reinforcing PR and marketing at home and abroad.”

DIME will plan and launch medical care products of Daejeon, based on the assisted surgery for critical cancer patients at CNUH, robot-assisted surgery for female cancer patients and immunotherapy for cancer patients at KYUH, premium health examination program at Sun General Hospital, endoscopic spinal nerve surgery at Barun Mind Hospital, and 3D FACE implant surgery at FACE Plastic Surgery, and promote the products on and offline, in addition to setting up a telemedicine platform as part of its efforts to improve the healthcare infrastructure of Daejeon.
